Falam que se o Pelé jogasse hoje em dia não faria muitos gols. Não, ele faria o triplo, porque na época dele nem cartões amarelo e vermelho tinha quando ele começou a jogar. Fora que tem câmeras e caneleiras para proteger a integridade física do jogador. Pelé estava muito acima da média e mesmo na época dele existiam grandes jogadores no Brasil e no Mundo. Mesmo assim ele sobressaía por ser extra classe: batia faltas, escanteios, cabeceio, chutava com as duas penas, passes precisos, visão de jogo, explosão na corrida, condução de bola, força, agilidade, posicionamento em campo, liderança, respeito que os adversários tinham por ele, carisma e, principalmente, humildade. CR7, Messi, Maradona entre outros grandes jogadores também nos brindaram com sua genialidade em campo, mas Pelé foi absurdamente melhor que todos eles juntos. Sua contribuição para o futebol não tem preço. One thing I can say about Pele, he was way ahead of his time. His timing and control of the ball was immaculate, almost like the ball chose him (which I believe it did). I keep hearing this strange argument that a lot of what Pele did on the field many decades ago is being done now, so it is nothing special-----but a lot of what Pele did many decades ago was not done then by other players----and even those doing it now are doing it because Pele did it 50yrs ago----he is the architect of the beautiful game. Falam que se o Pelé jogasse hoje em dia não faria muitos gols. Não, ele faria o triplo, porque na época dele nem cartões amarelo e vermelho tinha quando ele começou a jogar. Fora que tem câmeras e caneleiras para proteger a integridade física do jogador. Pelé estava muito acima da média e mesmo na época dele existiam grandes jogadores no Brasil e no Mundo. Mesmo assim ele sobressaía por ser extra classe: batia faltas, escanteios, cabeceio, chutava com as duas penas, passes precisos, visão de jogo, explosão na corrida, condução de bola, força, agilidade, posicionamento em campo, liderança, respeito que os adversários tinham por ele, carisma e, principalmente, humildade. CR7, Messi, Maradona entre outros grandes jogadores também nos brindaram com sua genialidade em campo, mas Pelé foi absurdamente melhor que todos eles juntos. Sua contribuição para o futebol não tem preço. Seu nome é chancela de algo supremo: quando querem falar que um jogador/atleta é bom em qualquer outra modalidade esportiva, sempre utilizam o nome de Pelé (Pelé do basquete, vôlei, do tênis, etc). Seu legado será eterno.

Concordo em tudo. Só errou em citar CR7. Até entendo quem cita ele, mas com a bola no pé, só de brasileiro, tem uns 20 na frente dele. Eu achava sem graça ver o robo jogar até quando ele estava no auge no Real Madrid. Parava pra ver Marcelo, Modric e Bale. Rivelino, Zico, Tostão, Edu, Dinamite, Jairzinho, Dirceu Lopes, Denner, R10, R9, Romario, Tostão, Reinaldo, Careca, Edmundo, Amoroso, Coutinho do Santos, Rivaldo, Neymar, Garrincha, Falcão, Didi...Esqueci alguns...Para mim todos mais jogadores que CR7, porem menos atletas

Boa parte dos espectadores gostam de ver ele jogando e ele pode não ter o drible de muitos ex-grandes jogadores do Brasil, mas mesmo assim ele hoje é um grande jogador. Pode ser que até hoje em dia ele não seja o mesmo de 3 anos atrás, mas está no hall dos grandes.

One thing I can say about Pele, he was way ahead of his time. His timing and control of the ball was immaculate, almost like the ball chose him (which I believe it did).
